Job Description:
Tumi, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Breakfast Attendant to join our team. As a Breakfast Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless breakfast experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include:
- Replenishing breakfast items and beverages to maintain a well-stocked buffet.
- Managing the buffet area to ensure a neat and inviting presentation.
- Adhering to safe food handling practices to ensure guest safety.
- Conducting pre-opening checks to maintain the cleanliness and organization of your work area.
- Performing necessary setup, side work, and closing duties as assigned.
- Operating kitchen appliances and equipment proficiently, such as microwave, oven, and dishwasher.
- Clearing dirty dishes, utensils, and glassware, and resetting tables for the next guests.
- Active participation in daily preshift meetings to stay informed about the day's operations.
- Cleaning and maintaining breakfast equipment and items, including dishware, glassware, and coffee pots.
- Assisting the kitchen staff with buffet setup and breakdown as required.
- Fulfilling any other duties as assigned by the management.
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Availability for early morning shifts, ensuring the breakfast service starts smoothly.
- Previous experience in food service or a hospitality role is a definite plus.
- Strong focus on guest satisfaction and exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness and capability to operate an outdoor grill as needed.
- Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 10 lbs. regularly, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally with assistance.
- Regular ability to stand, sit, walk, reach, use hands for handling, and communicate effectively.
